Help your agents do useful work with clear direction, relevant context and reliable feedback.
Use these questions to find one practical improvement in your workflow.
Five questions worth asking
| Area | Question |
|---|---|
| Direction | Is the desired outcome clear enough to check? |
| Context | Can the agent find the project knowledge it needs? |
| Feedback | Can it run meaningful checks and correct mistakes? |
| Boundaries | Does it have appropriate access for this task? |
| Learning | Did a recurring problem lead to a useful change? |
Observe. Experiment. Verify.
Start with something that happened. Identify a possible explanation. Make one focused change, then look for evidence on a comparable task. A repeated request might suggest a missing skill, or it might simply be appropriate reuse. Context decides.
Agent Recap currently supports the observation stage through local reports and contextual suggestions through optional AI review. Recording experiments and comparing later outcomes are planned. For now, verification is a deliberate manual step.
Make improvement concrete
Suppose you repeatedly explain how to run the same project’s tests. One experiment is to document the command in a reviewed skill. On the next comparable task, check whether the agent found it and completed meaningful validation. If it didn’t, investigate why before adding more instructions.
A companion to your existing tools
Keep working in Claude or Codex. Run Agent Recap when you want to reflect on the recorded evidence. Start small, inspect the limits, and choose a change worth trying.
